HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010

Friends – Happy New Year! 2009 is your best year yet, but not the best year you will ever have.  2010 will be better.  Faith Exchange and the ProVision Network have had phenomenal years.  Increase is everywhere, but where the unseen work is (where faith is) is where the most powerful and interesting development is taking place. We just finished 2 and one half years of consistent intercessory prayer.  We are also ending 1 and one half years of consistent discipleship through www.mydeeperlife.com.  We have a 12-year lease and are currently conducting a major renovation. The Freedom Center is being developed on many levels.  Before you know it, we will have a state of the art facility housing worship, prayer, master classes in the Father’s Family Business, and incubators for business, the arts and ministry and a school for children.  We are already attracting the attention of ministries and businesses from around the area desiring to partner with us. If you haven’t seen it, you need to come and check it out for yourself.  This year we already have events planned that will surpass all that we have done to date.

I want to thank all of our partners who have stood with us over the years.  Benjamin and Leah Thomas – Faith Exchange Board Members have been especially helpful.  Matthew Deutsch, Kyle Newton, Jim Stanley and Richard Johnson as ProVision Network Board Members have also stood with us to see us continue to grow in numbers and influence.  Kim Jones, Vanessa Hatcher and Donald Schmid as our full time staff have also been steady in their contribution as they do the necessary day-to-day work. Pierre LaGuerre has handled the development of our website.  Nicole Washington has excelled as the PVN Executive Director.  Billy Patterson has come on as our full time Musical Director and we will begin to see great improvement in our worship. Chris Ockler has come on to oversee the construction of our new site and both Mac Gerald and Angel Rivera have proven to be skilled workers in this task.  They oversee the rest of the hired staff as we continue to make improvements to the space that God has provided for us.

As you have heard me say, it is all about the relationships.  New relationships that have really manifested this year are – Gordon Robertson at CBN, Bill Thomas of Global Strategic Advisors, JiNan Glasgow of NeoPatents – just to name three.  We continue to do our work in Mexico with Luis Marquez.  This work includes what we are doing with Kevin McGovern and the water initiative.  Chuck Vollmer is about to release a book ‘The Tyranny of Trillions’ that I think is going to be received very well by the consuming public.  Jon Nieman’s work is very exciting as he begins to bridge the Academic and Business spheres.

Put Feb. 25-27 on your calendar.  You want to be in New York for our next Leadership Summit.  You do not want to miss it.  Richard Johnson has put together an all-star cast of speakers and panelists.  We want to provide you with access to answers and favor that you have not had access to before. Business leaders who are leading in the financial arena.  Political leaders – senators and policy makers from across the country will be with us.  Candidates for Congress will be with us.  I am hoping that leaders from the Body of Christ will also see fit to join us. We will have representatives working in the education mountain.  (Flip Flippens and Duncan Dodds)  Gordon Robertson was with us in June and cannot join us in February, but we are hoping that he will send a representative from Regent University to participate as we address many of the issues facing all people and the church today.

Prison Ministry with Mike Barber and ministry at Yale University were new initiatives in 2009. Those will continue into 2010. We will be hiring a new person in March of 2010 to lead our outreach ministries through evangelism with a focus on the under 30 crowd.

The financials for 2008 were prepared and we showed substantial increase from 2008 to 2009 – being up about 20% in overall income.  The favor that we have received in our new location is a major breakthrough for all of us.  You don’t realize how important this breakthrough is yet, because the space is not fully functional, but when you see it in full function you will see miracles through healing, praise and worship that truly destroys yokes and removes burdens, simple, concise and life changing teaching and preaching, discipleship and development of individuals equipped to go into every aspect of society, children’s education – individualized to bring out their unique gifts and talents and a convening of leaders – a center for strategic Christian thinking – where the Holy Spirit is truly in charge.

Thank you for believing in us.  Thank you for standing with us.  Thank you for supporting us.  Please communicate with us early and often as we continue to pursue the King and His Kingdom.

A special thanks to all of our chapter leaders.  (Jack Shoup, Ron George, Pierre LaGuerre, Rafael Martinez, Mark Russak, Tom Waltz, Dale Holmgren, Tim Burt, Matt Deutsch and Debra Smeltzer.) Another special thanks to the leaders on the prayer call – Ken Handwerker, Kimberly Winfrey, Ken Pepiton, Gloria Bradford and Vanessa Hatcher.  Thank you Jacki Kinney and Rachael Lewinson for your work in deeper life and also in prayer.

We are so thankful for each of you ---    Ahava – Ahava- Ahava –
